Check at Manali. No need to go to Dharmsala first if you take a bus. Take any bus going to Baijnath or Palampur and get off at Bir Chauk on the highway. From there local transport to Bir village.

On the way before reaching Beohari you could stop by Bandhavgarh hill, Baghel museum, national park, caves and Dudu Dhara falls. There is lots to visit in Allahabad right from Triveni sangam, museum, fort and planetarium plus a few must visit local mandir. From Allahabad 7 hours is Lucknow. On the way you could stop at botanical garden, bird sanctuary. Another place is Jharkhand which is one such prominent place located in the north of Chhattisgarh. From Raipur Ranchi is 11hours drive. You could first stop at Sirpur for an overnight stay. On the way you could stop at Buddha vihara, Laxman temple, barnawapara sanctuary. Start day 2 a bit late after tasting great local breakfast and proceed towards Sambalpur. Right from samaleshwari temple, gudguda falls, deer park, Buddha Raja temple, cattle island, timini temple in four hours time you arrive Ranchi. Regarding road conditions, both the highways are good. Of course you need to do a weather check before starting, keep the travel documents ready in hand, vaccine certificate. Happy journey.

From Chennai getting travelling to Vizag is easy, whereby you could spend three days then by proceed towards Araku valley, Kurnool, Vijaywada, and finally stop by at Hyderabad where from there are trains, buses and flights to mumbai.
