Check at Manali. No need to go to Dharmsala first if you take a bus. Take any bus going to Baijnath or Palampur and get off at Bir Chauk on the highway. From there local transport to Bir village.
UpvoteCommentBir billing is 5 hours away from Manali. There are flights amritsar to Kangra airport. Besides buses operate from Manali to Bir which is an overnight journey. If you are planning travel by train, you need to travel to Pathankot then take a bus or cab to Bir. Plan journey via Pathankot for its 280kms away from Bir.
UpvoteCommentIf you are planning to visit Lucknow which is on the north of Raipur here is what could be done. It takes 16 hours to reach Lucknow by road from Raipur. You could start your journey via Bilaspur and stay overnight at Beohari. On the way you could visit Gobind sagar lake, Vyas cave, Bachhretu cave. On the way before reaching Beohari you could stop by Bandhavgarh hill, Baghel museum, national park, caves and Dudu Dhara falls. Second day you could start a bit early and explore keshari falls, Gobindgarh palace, taal falls, rani Talab mandir and proceed towards Allahabad. There is lots to visit in Allahabad right from Triveni sangam, museum, fort and planetarium plus a few must visit local mandir. From Allahabad 7 hours is Lucknow. On the way you could stop at botanical garden, bird sanctuary. Another place is Jharkhand which is one such prominent place located in the north of Chhattisgarh. From Raipur Ranchi is 11hours drive. You could first stop at Sirpur for an overnight stay. On the way you could stop at Buddha vihara, Laxman temple, barnawapara sanctuary. Start day 2 a bit late after tasting great local breakfast and proceed towards Sambalpur. Right from samaleshwari temple, gudguda falls, deer park, Buddha Raja temple, cattle island, timini temple in four hours time you arrive Ranchi. Regarding road conditions, both the highways are good. Of course you need to do a weather check before starting, keep the travel documents ready in hand, vaccine certificate. Happy journey.

UpvoteCommentFrom Mumbai you can start with visiting Gokarna, then enter Karnataka state. In Karnataka major city to visit is Bangalore whereby you can allot three full days. From Bangalore you can travel to Udupi, Coorg, Kudremukh and Chikmagalur. From there you can go still further down to Mysore and from Mysore enter Wayanad Kerala. Kerala has lots to explore. Starting from Trivandrum capital city, Cochin, Idukki, Thekkady, Ernakulam and Munnar. From Munnar Ooty is nearby so you enter Tamilnadu. Now you can travel to Kodaikanal, get down to Madurai cover Tiruchirappalli and Srirangam, further to Tirunelveli belt and via Kanyakumari enter chennai capital city. From Chennai getting travelling to Vizag is easy, whereby you could spend three days then by proceed towards Araku valley, Kurnool, Vijaywada, and finally stop by at Hyderabad where from there are trains, buses and flights to mumbai.

Yes it is beginning of rain in Rameshwaram, which changes the weather. However be the rains temperature ranges between 28 to 35degree Celsius. So the day you plan visit to Pamban you need to get a weather check done. Since July will be beginning of rain, I don’t think it would be heavy rains. Though downpours are encountered.

Minimum four to five days are much required to explore Rishikesh. Cost usually varies based on mode of transport and place of stay. The basic anticipated expenses occurred while travelling to Rishikesh comes between 15k to 20k.
