Really a tough trek. You can go there in May or June because the weather is good at that time and it is safe.

HI Kamini, Best time to travel to Satopanth Lake Trek is in summers (Mid May – June) and Post monsoon (September - October), when the weather remains pleasant and the sky clear for some magical views of far-flung high mountain peaks. No The best time to visit Gavi is by December and January
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Purusottam, The best time to visit Gavi is from September to February. You will be getting a chilling experience during this period at Gavi. If you want to enjoy the heavy monsoon at Gavi, plan your trip from June to September. The summer period (from March to May) is usually not preferable.

Omakareshwar has one Shiv Jyotirling. On the other side of river, there is 5-6 kilometre long parikrama which goes in a circular manner on the top of a hill. Along the way, you will find many captivating scenes and shiv temples. At the top of the hill is an abandoned fort.

Brindavan gardens is close to Mysore city than it is to Mandya city( though it belongs to Mandya dist). I would suggest you get a room in Mysore city itself. also the Rangantittu bird sanctuary is equally distant from Mysore and Mandya.
