Kheerganga will be not open because it's risky in December or January.. Depend on snowfall.. In December you will be go only a nathan Villege near to kheerganga.. If you have backup plan & 2 day for kheerganga trek then maybe you cover this trek.. But almost cafes & living options on the route of kheerganga will be closed
Hi Shubham, It definitely is a risky and difficult one. The main problem I faced during the trek was the slippery ice which is in the last 3–4 Kms of the trek. We reached there at around 10 PM which was kinda dangerous but fun. Though we had a trekking guide with us, there were many many people who completed it by themselves successfully and easily. If you are not in the mood of taking a guide, then do remember to keep an axe or some sharp object with you. This will help you breaking the ice for keeping the foot. The place is good for staying and people are very hospitable. You won't have any mobile networks or electricity too during the day time. Temperature can go as low as -20°C but it is all worth it. PS: According to the localites if it snows just before you go it will be helpful as fresh snow is not an obstacle. It gets difficult when it gets frozen.
Hi Aditya, Igatpuri is the nearest city to reach Ratangad Fort. Regular Maharashtra State Transport (MSRTC) buses are available from Mumbai, Thane and Nashik to Igatpuri and Bhandardara. You can hire a local, shared jeep from Igatpuri to Ratanwadi.
I've been to Bali in April and July , I totally recommend to go in July. The weather is amazing. April was just too hot especially in the evenings when one would ideally like to step out and go to beach clubs.
Hi David, Vasuki Tal via Tapovan is a trek with unique visuals where you walk over glaciers for miles & camp at the foot of towering Himalayan peaks like Mount Shivling. The trek has the highest altitude of 4800 M at Vasuki Tal and is graded as moderate to challenging. The trek involves crossing many glaciers and boulders and that makes this trek really thrilling and different from other treks. En route you get stunning views of peaks that pose a challenge to mountaineers such as Shivling, Thalay Sagar, Meru, and Bhagirathi I, II, III. The trail of Vasuki Tal Trek goes through Gaumukh - the source of mighty river Ganga and Tapovan - the gorgeous alpine meadow of religious significance for Hindus. Since this trek is still less explored, it gives the trekkers a unique chance of experiencing nature at its best. In order to Vasuki Tal Trek, you must have some prior experience of trekking in the Himalayas. The best time to do Tapovan and Vasuki Tal is May - June, and September - October.
Hi Alok, April, May, September and October are pleasantly warm so are typically the best times to visit Turkey's grand array of ancient sites. The summer months from June through to September are very hot, with temperatures reaching the mid-30°Cs on the south coast.
I won't say the place as offbeat but it's a definite treat.
Trek to Tadiandamol, the highest peak in Karnataka.
The best way is to start the trek early in the morning from the base. Have a full day reserved for this since the hike would probably be 10 Kms on foot. Carry proper trekking stuffs and water bottles. The view and the way is absolutely worth it.
Cheers.

The best part about Goa is even if you don't fix an itinerary you can roam around very easily, you just need to hire a scooty. And that of food if you are willing to spend money then the beach side restaurants are best as all the beach restaurants serves amazing food and all the beach side restaurants are expensive. And there is a food truck somewhere in a cross junction you'll get it while going toward Anjuna from Baga side or from Anjuna towards Arambol side eat there. They serve amazing burgers and hot dogs. And if you want to enjoy the same beach side restaurant food in a comparatively cheaper price the eat on the road side restaurants that you'll pass while going from one beach to another. And yes most importantly don't forget to ask local whenever and wherever possible to go to your next destination from you will be at present. Enjoy happy travelling.
First of all, its great that you are booking for 5 days. Thats perfect to visit nourth goa and glimpse of south. To eat, I would suggest you to start your day by taking a heavy breakfast at your hotel itself and then start you day. Depending upon the places you are visiting, you will find great food options nearby for lunch, that too at very reasonable prices. For example, if you are at Calangute beach, there are numerous options around including pure vegetarian restaurants too at walking distance from the beach. same applies for almost all beaches. If you are going to fort, you can pack something and eat at the fort or the food is available outside as well. At the night, you must be either at the shack or in hotel or some private party, which offers you a great range of food and drink options. Goa is a place where you plan as you ride. If you are looking for a particular veriety or cuisine, apps like zomato works best in goa. Happy Goa :)
