UpvoteCommentThe best time to visit Varanasi is during the winter months (November to February). Although it gets fairly cold during the winters, this is the best time when you can explore the holy city without getting tired. The average low temperature is around 5°C.

Hi Anshul. Considering the level of security the govt is maintaining, it should be safe for tourists. However, it is better to let the place breathe and drop any plans to travel there, at least for now. Why risk your life? Less tourists/public will also help the authorities maintain peace and order under such tense times. There's a reason why airports and cities have been put on red alert.

SUMMERS:- summers begin to set in from the Month of May and last till June. During this time, the climate here is moderately cold yet pleasing. In this season the temperature ranges between 7°C - 18°C. The days are pleasant while the nights are cold. Summer season is ideal for a spiritual visit to the Badrinath shrine and also apt for sightseeing trips.TRIP ESSENTIALSDon't forget to pack light woollen clothing as Badrinath remains a lot cold even in the summers. Along with it, one must carry a list of essentials including a day pack, a pair of comfortable walking shoes/ trekking shoes, trekking pants, windproof jacket, sun cap, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, lip balm, walking stick, personal toiletries and torch/ flashlight with extra batteries. One must carry a water bottle and some dry fruits, along with energy bars. To avoid dehydration, energy drinks like electoral (ORS)/ Gatorade are also vital to carry.

Either you can hire cab from Leh, or take the state buses from Leh. Buses wont stop to get the view of confluence though. If you are fine with hitchhiking, then you would get lots of travelers/locals/bus driver.
UpvoteCommentMonsoon is not considered an ideal time to visit the place. There are heavy chances of landslides and you will find definite news on road blockages. The Kullu district receives moderate to heavy rainfall but a visit to this place during this time of the year will be a great feast for a person who loves to enjoy the natural beauty of the region along with the waterfalls, greenery and the romantic mist making the place livelier. It is not advisable to visit Kasol in July and the same goes for weather conditions at Kasol in August.

If you’ve never been to Goa before, then spend your time on beach shacks. Go partying. If you’ve already been to Goa before then try to explore Goa. You can go to a beach called Grandmother’s Hole near Japanese Garden. It is one on the lesser known beaches on Goa.
