~This Souk is designed by DSA architects. This souk is an attempt to design as authentically close Souk and 5 star hotel to the decaying Souks or Arabian Markets..
~Visited 118 tower- a luxury high end residential
apartment condominium..
~Later we roamed in Saga world mall. The
mall is famous for gold threaded art work wall
hangings and carpets...
~1/2 Day city tour to Dubai, souk, harbour later to Dubai Museum,
~ Visited Palm Jhumera island.
~the point - A pause point prominade with commercial complex, food court and view of Atlantis beach front before entering the periphery of the palm island.
~ Atlantis Hotel lobby through the Avenue - shopping arcade
glimpse of the shopping areas , the underwater lost world acquarium through various souvenir shops.
~west edge of the peripheral palm to have view of the Jumerah Beach residential high rise condominium and the view of the Jabalali area.
~visit to Rove Downtown 4 star Budget Hotel designed by Archgroup and interiors done by dubai based VS design studio.
~ also visited Mall of Emirates designed by American firm F+A
~IKEA visit, worlds biggest IKEA store and warehouse,
~later visited to Dubai City Centre Mall,
the mall houses small and mid size stores and also has a departmental store..
~In afternoon we gave a visit to the Desert
Safari through SUV in group of 7
~Visited the rated as world Best Leisure Resort The Burj Al Arab , a iconic mast shape building designed by Atkins led by Architect Tom Wright.. got an opportunity to see the Suit room,The Al Mahara Sky Bar and Restuarant in the Iconic cantilever Capsule, The Gold on 27 Bar on the 27th
floor, The Bab al Yam Resturant on the ground floor with sea view, the Shan E dar resturant at the Lobby level.
visited the shopping arcade facing the worlds tallest atrium. The atrium fountain flanked
with escalators and reception lobby was a sight to cherished and tresured..
~Visited the Dubai Frame in the Zabeel park. It is the biggest frame on the planet.
The design was conceived by Architect Fernando Donis and built by Dubai Municipality.. The frame is platted with
24 carat Gold and has viewing gallery at 492 ft
facing Bur (new) Dubai on one side and Deira (old) Dubai on the other side.
~ Visited The Dubai Mall, worlds biggest shopping mall with the state of the art showrooms of the High end
Brands.. also visited the pause points like the Fountain and the aquarium in the Dubai mall.
~ From the Dubai mall is the entry to the viewing gallery of The Bhurj Khalifa, worlds tallest building designed by Architect Adrian Smith of SOM. We were taken to the viewing gallery 'At the top' on the 124th and 125th floor at 1823 ft height to take the arial view of Dubai.
~Visited 'the world biggest fountain at Bhurj Khalifa' , the dancing fountain is choreographed over 30 acres
of man made Bhurj khalifa lake with evening show timings at 18 hrs and 18 30 hrs.
Departed for Abu Dhabi..
~Visited Shaikh Zaid Grand Mosque, 2nd biggest mosque in the world designed by Architect Yusef Abdelki of Halcrow Group, the mosque complex is designed with an experiential space entrance
area and museum, the shopping arcade, souvenir shops and food court.. the mosque is designed with lavish intricate pietra dura work of marble inlay, frescoes, carpets and chandeliers.. the gold guilded
surfaces in the interiors of the mosque are striking features of the mosque.
~ Visited the AbuDhabi Presidential Palace, the palace is a new cultural landmark for UAE. The amazingly designed symmetrical interiors is priceless.. The central area is flanked with domes and guilded ceiling with inlay work in the flooring and walls frescoes.. the eastern wing has libraries, gold plated art installation
and board room and the west wing has the dining halls, museum and the assembly hall..
The visitors centre also has cafetria and
souvenir shop..
~ the tour ended with visit to Ferari world on Yas Island of Abudhabi, designed by Benoy Architects,
It covers an area of 21 acres approx. 86000 sq.mts. saw the various experiential spaces
of theme park and simultaneously enjoyed the
various rides, amongst which was the world's
fastest roller coster ride..
~ boarded the 23:50 flight from Abu
Dhabi back home to Mumbai
