A couple of months ago, when I went to France to attend my graduation ceremony I had some spare time & a weekend. I was looking for places to visit in just over 48 hours. So, finally made my mind to visit Brussels which is relatively small city & possible to see it all in two days. It's also the capital of comic books, fries, beer, waffles, and of course "Chocolates". Walking through the city feels like magic, the street light with beautiful hanging flowers and cobblestone streets, and the Grand Place-Guild Halls are really striking.
The north end of the city is the Atomium is the best place to see the city view. Sacred Heart Basilica, Royal Palace Parc du Cinquantenaire , Palais de Justice & Manneken Pis are some of the other attraction in the city.
All in all, Brussels is the perfect place to make a day trip (or two in your weekend here) !
