Day 1 - Manali
Arrive at Manali early in the morning. Explore the beautiful views of Himalaya. Visit Old Manali, Hidimba Temple and Manu’s Temple in old city. Spend evening in Old Manali market and mall road.
Day 2: Manali – Kaza
Start early in the morning from Manali and reach to Rohtang pass ( approx 4000m).Rohtang pass separates Manali region from Lahual Spiti, a beautiful stop to try out your photography skills. Drive towards Batal and stop there for lunch at the only restaurant of the famous Chacha Chachi in the region.Continue drive towards Kaza via Kunzum la (4550m) a major pass in Spiti valley that separates Lahual region from Spiti valley. Reach Kaza by late evening and stay.
Day 3: Kaza – Key – Kibber -
Visit Kibber village. One of the most picturesque village in Spiti valley. Explore Kibber which is also one of the highest inhabited village in the world. Visit key monastery. Key monastery is one of the oldest monastery in the region.Spend Evening at Kaza market.
Day 4: Kaza – Pin valley – Tabo
Pin Valley is famous for it’s wildlife which includes critically endangered Snow leopards, Ibex, Himalayan bear and Wolf. Visit Kungri monastery and try to spot some wildlife. Drive to Tabo to visit Tabo Monastery which is
more than 1000 years old and is considered one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world. There are several caves nearby which are used by Buddhist monks for meditation in solitude.
Day 5 : Tabo – Dhankar – Hikkim – Langza – Kaza
Start early morning from Tabo towards Dhankar monastery. Visit gompa/monastery which is situated high above the valley. It used to be a fort and residence of king if Spiti. The view from the monastery is mind blowing. Visit Hikkim which has world’s highest polling station and also the world’s highest post office. Send letter to your dear ones with the stamp. Visit Lagnza which has the Buddha statue overlooking the mountain ranges of Spiti valley. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 6:Kaza to Chandra tal
The day starts early again as we will be travelling through another scenic and less explored road in Spiti. We head to reach out the Chandra Tal aka Moon lake. Chandratal, the name of the lake is originated from its crescent shape. The mesmerising lake with crystal clear water gives you a perfect campsite you would visit ever. Stay overnight with a spectacular mountain range
Day 7 : Chandra tal to Manali
Leave early morning to get an evening free in Manali. This will be one of the most scenic roads in your entire tour. Enjoy the cold dessert’s last look in tour. This route goes via famous Rohtang pass ( 13,050 ft). Reach Manali, and enjoy the evening with a successful journey through mountains
