Hyderabad and Bangalore are the two metropolitan cities for me to choose as break journey spots while travelling from one hometown of mine to the other. Every time I travel from Vizag to Mangalore, I must stop at either of these cities to continue my journey further. Hence, I end up spending my time meeting my pals at places that I personally like and vibe a lot. And what's better than vibing over good music, delicious food, soulful vibe and heartful conversations? Well, if you like such kinds of places, then you must visit these sophisticated resto bars in these metropolitan cities.

Aura:

Situated at one of the posh spots of Hyderabad at Jubilee Hills, this particular fusion bar gives you all kinds of vibes you need to relax. Indeed, the name of the place befits it truly. I went here when I had to travel from Vizag to Honnavar, making Hyderabad a break journey spot. It was a fine Tuesday night, and we were four queer pals hanging around for dinner.

The place opens till 12 am at night and the speciality of this place is the beverages they provide that involve fusion techniques. So, we went to have lovely food and drinks. It was a huge premise that could hold a good number of people with more than 30 tables spread indoors and outdoors of the place. With lovely music, cosy interiors, welcoming staff, floral arrangements, incandescent and fluorescent lighting and great ventilation, this place was exactly what I was looking for that night.

We were starving already. So we ordered some exotic dishes like farmhouse pizza, falafel platter, kebabs and fries as a side dish along with cocktails, long island iced teas and especially fusion beers. I chose chocolate fusion with Heineken beers blended after testing all the syrups they used to blend the fusion beers. I almost tasted chocolate, caramel, citrus, blueberry and cranberry fusions to test which one tasted better. So, we ordered chocolate and cranberry fusion beers. The menu confuses you for sure because of their extended options of various cuisines and beverages. It's always better to take the help of a waiter to choose the best ones out of them.

I have literally spent more than 20 minutes discussing the food and drinks with the ingredients involved because of my curiosity and calorie consciousness. They patiently explained and I ordered the best food options available.

While appreciating our food and drinks, I captured the premises and covered every inch of its outdoor premises as I love sitting outside of a resto-bar. Also, they have a projector and music system that entertain customers during their time at the bar. The plants and floral arrangements elevated the aura instantly and any person would fall in love instantly. After having a good time over silly conversations, we thought of leaving as it was around closing time. But before we left, there was a selfie point with winged lighting just outside the door where we happily got ourselves clicked. The lighting of this place was on point and made me feel like spending more time. So, if you ever visit Hyderabad, don't forget to drink and eat here and I'm sure you will love the aura for sure! That one December night at Hyderabad at this place was lovely especially when I was warming up for a crazy tour ahead.

Pallet:

Every time I visit Bangalore, I love having fun at this live-kitchen-oriented resto-bar with a dance floor which is popular for its Dhol nights on Saturdays in the vicinity of Whitefield. But stepping inside this place on a lazy Thursday afternoon made me feel it differently. Because I visited this place only on Saturday nights to dance like crazy and get sloshed out.

When one of my girl pals and I decided to meet, I chose this place because, before that, I haven't explored the afternoon vibe at one of my favourite spots in Bangalore. I was about to leave Bangalore that evening for Goa to celebrate Christmas with another set of pals. So before courting the bus, we thought of hanging out for lunch. Well, due to my travel plan, I have restricted myself from eating and drinking much.

It looked completely different in the daylight than in the nights which I got habituated with. The staff knows me, and they are warm to everyone. They greeted me and finally I met my girl pal. We were crazily laughing over our silly gossip conversations at one window edge with bright ventilation leaning against the wall right opposite the bar counter where many tables spread with a few people occupied here and there.

The menu at this place is exotic with continental dishes and brewed drinks. The availability of almost all kinds of cuisines makes this place the best around that area. Unlike nights when the music goes crazy, that afternoon was soothing enough to talk over without shouting aloud. We ordered Chicken lasagna, peppercorn, fries and wheat beers to have a nice time over food and drinks.

I felt good in choosing this place as she also like it and we could spend good girls' time together and what else gay pals are there for! This place is a hugely extended premise with sectioned segments of tables of different kinds. It begins with a lovely entrance, love seat couch aesthetic at the reception, after entering one can find a smoking room at one corner and wooden tables spread right opposite the live kitchen counter and then comes the next segment with a bar counter and bohemian-themed tables and couches after that one can see the dance floor with DJ counter at one corner with extended balconies attached all the way from beginning to end.

Well, I could describe the architecture of this place specifically because I explored it in the afternoon when I was sober enough to appreciate the place the way it was. And as it was Christmas week, the whole place was oozing a Christmas vibe with its decorations. So, we ended up clicking some lovely pictures before leaving the place. It was a good afternoon and the best possible way to bid adieu to Bangalore until my next visit.

These two places are not just two resto bars in these two metropolitan cities. I have drafted these as recommendations because I personally felt a good connection with the premises where one can relax and embrace the time over food, drinks and conversations.
