Everyone asked from the beginning what is in Odisha and why solo journey! But what to do, I am so fond of ancient kingdoms and its architectures and yea, temples also the part of that! And since no one is to accompany, solo journey is the only way to explore the un-explored Odisha – English rendering of name officially changed on 2011 April 4th to Odisha. Its capital was Cuttack before, but now Bhubaneshwar that is known as Mandira Malini Nagari ("City of Temples") and also It is the largest city in Odisha and is a centre of economic and religious importance in Eastern India. For Odisha their formation day is 1st April 1936, they call it Utkala Dibasa (Foundation day! :)) This region also known as Utkala which is mentioning in our National Anthem (wow that was a new info to me :)) Just like Bengali, Odiya also don't have "Va" but "Ba" instead! There is a lot to say about my first solo journey and my co travelers. That I will do in my book :) But to say, it was a great experience and a new vision!
