I decided to explore this golden city in Rajasthan in the cold winters of December and also celebrate New years in the dunes. Jaisalmer was more than I expected and totally made me fall in love with the city over a week. The Khuri dunes are unexplored and less commercial and perfect for camping out and I spent the night freezing but sky watching... Sam dunes are endless and the most gorgeous sunsets can be seen from here.. Markets and city are old, full of culture and beautiful architecture... a paradise for shopping, if interested and many restaurants to satisfy taste buds...
