Sammed Shikharji is in Jharkhand, a Jain Pilgrim place. It's situated at the highest peak of Jharkhand.
20 out of 24 Jain bhagwan have gone to moksh from Shikharji. From this you can guess how holy place is this. You can reach here either by roadways or railways, nearest station is Parasnath. It has very well built architectural temples, where you will find your peace.
On day one I've explored the local market and few nearby temples. You can get very good kurta or kurti here at very cheap prices, quality is average. Soda shikanji here is there trademark drink to cool down your body.
I've visited Gunaytan temple, it's under construction currently and will get completed by Feb-2022. And this temple will be one of its own, it will have 3D visualisation, will tell us the way of moksh by animated visualisation. Along with temple they have place for stay too, which is also good.
On day 2, we have for trek. It is also called Vandana, where we will visit all the places at mountain from where our God has gone to moksh. It's total 27 kms stretch. We have started it at 1:30 am (mid night) and completed it by 10:30 am. Once you reach at top, you will feel like you have came to heaven. You will find your inner peace here. You can meditate here and vibes you will get is unmatched. There are 24 tonks here of each Jain god, and Parasnath tonk is the highest point here.
You can go for a trek either by walking barefoot or you can hire a doli, which will carry you for the trek.
After coming back from trekking, we have done rest as all were tired. And at evening went for a city ride.
In day 3 we have visited SIDHAYTAN, a place which gives you all luxury at this holy place. It has very decent accommodation facilities which includes deluxe, super deluxe room and if you have group them they have 2 bhk and 3bhk flat with very good interior. They have outdoor playground for children, very beautiful lawn space at centre. A human chess, which is very fascinating. And at evening we have tried their mess food at annapurna, which was very tatst at reasonable rates. All in all its worth coming here. Thoroughly enjoyed the place.
And after this we left for parasnath, as we're having our train to go back!
