Nelliyampathy, Can't be described with words. Nelliyampathy have to be witnessed by everyone. Green Paradise located in the hills of Palakkad district. The trekking route in the mountain is strictly monitored by Forest department and they preserve the place by prohibiting Plastics.

You can go to Nelliyampathy from Palakkad. You could catch a bus or travel on your own cab from Palakkad. Resorts may also arrange a pickup from Nenmara located in the foot of Nelliyampathy.

You should also keep this in mind that you should buy whatever you need to grab to fill your tummy in Nenmara - Downhills of Nelliyampathy itself as nothing much is available in the top. Also it's advisable that don't carry more plastics. Nelliyampathy is a pure greenish hill station without this plastic.

In the beginning, You will be thunderstrucked after seeing the Pothundy dam. The old dam located in between the hills, is truly a lovely view that melts your heart down and will make you fall in love with the view and place as well.

The path to the uphills would take you through roads covered with trees and bushes all the sides and hills all directions. The road will also take you through 2 viewpoints. Amazing road and amazing views are something unique you'll find in Nelliyampathy.

Day 2

Trekking is the best part that gives you a breathtaking view of the downhills and sharing border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu's Anaimalai forest and hills area. You can also witness some forest animals like buffalos, elephant, and monkeys.

After Trekking while we headed back to the downhills to leave the place, it seemed we've suddenly entered into a cloud zone and it started to rain.
