Here are some THINGS TO DO while visiting this hill station.

1) Being a part of Periyar Tiger Reserve with advance booking safari rides availability, you get to have a glimpse of the wild animals- elephants, deers and bisons.

2) It’s a bird watching paradise, where birds singing travels all through the air.

3) You could trek a great deal in Gavi. A place for adventurists providing the thrill of enthusiasm, amidst stunning atmosphere around.

4) It is a camping spot, with lot of safety on the wild side of the jungle.

7) Gavi is a trekkers paradise, allowing you to explore lush part of forests, hidden greenery and jaw dropping landscapes.

REACHING- From Nedumbassery, 160km away is Gavi. If you are reaching by train Kottayam is the nearest station, while by road from Thekkady it is 51km away.

Gavi is nicknamed as bewitching hills of Kerala, which is a quaint hilly spot, filled with lot of greenery. Though monsoons offer fresh side view of the hills, still visiting between September to February shows you the scenic part of nature accompanied with cool winds.
