2. Second Stop: Mapro Garden & Strawberry farms What will be a perfect place for a day trip- when you want to brush your teeth, maintain personal hygiene and want to have breakfast?? It is the " Mapro Garden" ! Washrooms-neat and clean. Get freshen-up and head towards exploring this fascinating place. Obviously, you have to click pictures at every corner, my friend because its Mapro :P anyway, stepping ahead- DON'T FORGET TO HAVE STRAWBERRY ICE-CREAM.This is a must have here and you can also have other dishes by buying from their canteen. Next, few meters ahead do explore Strawberry Garden. It's literally ecstatic to see how this tiny berries grow and infact you can also get a chance to pluck these berries and end up by buying it direct from the farms as well- though at a price slightly higher than what you can get from the city market.
After a hearty breakfast, we headed for a relaxed stroll around the Parsi point, clicking and capturing some of the mesmerising landscapes. Returned to our abode for lunch, we headed out for some sight-seeing, a December afternoon is definitely pleasant on the hills out there. We had booked a cab to let us see around. We landed at Mapro garden, witnessed their gigantic factory outlet, tasting rooms and their in-house restaurant. We ordered some snacks and the renowned strawberry cream on vanilla ice-cream. (P.S. Try some of their mouth-watering fruit mocktails and lounge syrups. We tasted and packed a few!)
4) Mapro Garden It's just beside Parsi Point and hostes Strawberry festival during Easter every year. It's most popular place in Panchgani with everything created in strawberry layouts. There's a cafeteria with strawberry flavoured stuffs and much more. We ordered strawberry ice cream, Orange khujli, chocolate sandwich, French fries, mango ice cream. All were fresh and yum. There's also a shopping mall in the campus consisting fresh goodies. You can buy drinks with free tasting. I bought Falero pack of 4 with all available flavors, pineapple aloevera juice, dark chocolate, water million ruafza etc.
Having drunk till late night, getting up early was impossible. We slept in the comfort of our bed till 10 and then rushed to have our complimentary breakfast. We ate to our hearts content and left for mapro garden which is a must visit if you go to Mahabi. There we shopped a little. And then had their very famous grilled cheese sandwich (which has lost it's charm over the years). By 12 we started our travel back to Pune.

Similar to this, there is Mala and Manama factories where you can buy fruit crushes, jams, syrups etc. With discount of 20% on MRP and available insmallquantities.
