Mahabaleshwar sounded like a religious trip to me until I got there. I was surprised to find out that it is a common honeymoon spot for the people of Mumbai.
The clouds were at the level of our eye line at our entry(made at night time) to Mahabaleshwar which proved to be an amazing sight.
Next day we were off to discover the beauty of this marvel that we made our visit to. Mahabaleshwar certainly has one of the best hills in all of Maharashtra if not the best. The multi-colored impression the hills give are something to look out to.
Wilson point is the highest point in Mahabaleshwar, perfect point for watching sunrise and sunset.
Mahabaleshwar produces one of the best strawberries in all of India. So it came as a no surprise to find out that Mapro company was started from this place. Mapro company has a particular place in the form of a factory cum restaurant cum selling garden in Mahabaleshwar. It sells fresh whole strawberry and other whole fruit products. The restaurants serves magnificent dishes from fresh ingredients. The garden serves well for people of all ages.
