The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, will present the awards on September 27 in New Delhi.

Earlier this year, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy launched the Best Tourism Village Competition Portal in the national capital to boost tourism across India. The selection process involves district-level committees evaluating villages, with the top three villages being forwarded for state-level assessment. Finally, the three best villages at the state level are considered for national-level evaluation.
