What are you thinking about the title? How come a government location and a government holiday related to each other? Well, the beauty has no restrictions. It can be witnessed at any place on any day. But Why did I mention the Crescent? You will get to know if you read and witness the clicks I captured.
Unfortunately, I cannot make my presence at Central Secretariat this Ramadan, because I have already witnessed that unforgettable yet natural scenic beauty in the month of April. Hence, I got to know how beautifully Crescent has matched itself poetically with the colorful lightened up buildings of Central Secretariat. But, you can go if you want to explore the scenic beauty on the vast roads of Central Secretariat.
Normally, people get down at the Central secretariat metro station to visit India Gate. Well, that's another patriotic memorial and can be visited any time. But there is Central secretariat exactly opposite to the India Gate but one must have to walk many miles though. If you want to Visit Central Secretariat, only plan in the nights because Days are quite busy and one can never witness Crescent in the mornings.
I know what might be running in your mind. Are you thinking about the heavy crowd? Well, I have visited the day before Delhi elections Phase 1, I hardly found people at central secretariat. So, don't take crowd as an issue. Just enjoy with your closest pals in walking towards the widest radius of the huge secretariat building. Walking in the moonlight on these wide roads is totally inexplicable. One must have to enjoy it on their own. But don't forget to carry liquids with you because the surface of roads is kind of high sloped.
After reaching the gates of Central Secretariat, wait for a while and enjoy the light scenario of the buildings. The architecture resembles Mughal, Indian and British cultures too. The whole monumental construction would be lightened up in the night times to attract visitors and to spread the charismatic vibes of Delhi.
Take a right turn to the Central Secretariat building, you will find a huge park with pruned plants and grasslands. The fountains add the scenic beauty in the night times. To spread the Indian vibes, the fountains come up with Indian flag color lights.
There was also a huge water space where the fountains have presented in the middle of the parks and near to Parliament Gate. The Parliament road was totally filled with huge trees on either side. Don't get into the water of the fountains because I found them murky and moss-grown. So be aware of the water sources. There was also a huge park that was near to the Parliament and the kind of preferable to hang out at evenings.
But if you are a moon lover and night appreciator, you should visit this place to treasure the beauty of Crescent in the Darkest nights with the lightened monumental structure of Central Secretariat.
