Khirki Village

Himanshu Verma
Standing true to its name, it's a window to what's called a monumental mess. What was once the gem in the Tughlaq city of 14th century, Khirki Village, today, is a conglomeration of dense buildings, along with some strong artistic experimental art practices painted over its walls, amidst the paths of community festivals and strong artistry, led by the organisation- Khoj. While on one side the walk covers the Satpula waterwork dam and Khirki Mosque of late 14th century, on the other site you walk through a maze along with exploring art and graffiti, created as part of the Extension Khirkee festival.\ Mode of Commuting: Walk Meeting Point: Customized Timings: Customized
