City palace
Maharaja Sawai jai Singh ll established the city palace during 1729-1732.vast complex of city palace occupying one seventh parts in centre of the wall city. The gem of architectural structure describes the culture of Rajput, Mughal and Europe. The pritam niwas chock in inner country yard well known for four season gates. The palace museum dedicates artefacts of textiles, arms, arts and bagghi khana.
Jantar mantar
The jantar mantar is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the rajput king sawai jai singh ii. These structures with their striking combinations of geometric forms at large-scale have captivated the attention of architects, artists, and art historians worldwide.it is a unesco world heritage site.
Hawamahal
Hawamahal also known as the palace of winds built-in 1799 at pink city. It has 953 windows on the outside walls. The honeycomb shaped and beautifully carved windows allow breeze to blow through the palace and allows the royal women to enjoy from every day street scenes. Rather than inside its look marvellous from outside. For the best view you can visit wind view cafe in opposite.
Isarlat
Isarlat standing tall since 1749 was built by Sawai Ishwari Singh, the eldest son Sawai jai Singh ll. Sargasuli is 7 stories high and was once the tallest building of pink city once you reach the top of this tower you will get a wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse of the city with panoramic view.
Last January I had visited Jaipur, Rajasthan during kite festival (makarshakranti). Jaipur is well known for pink city. In Jaipur two cities apart from each other pink city and metro city. Here I am sharing my 3days itinerary to explore Jaipur.
