Virajpet is a town brimming with history in Kodagu, Karnataka. Ancient temples with intricate architecture, such as the Ayyappa Temple and the Shiva Temple, grace the streetscape. Every October, hundreds of people flock to this town for the 10-day Madikeri Festival.
