You can take a bus from dehradun railway station to sankri village(a ticket costs 285/- approx) at around 5 am & 8:30 am...yeah..for non pahari's its a challenge to travel in a bus that too in mountains for almost 8hours. it is maddening but fun as you get to see virgin nature as you get deep into the territory...bus stops for lunch and tea in between... reach Sankri..and stay there for a night as you'll reach in the evening/at night......
