Coupled with Paris, i was somehow able to squeeze in a day trip (thanks to her extremely kind colleague who happens to be a French resident) to Versailles , to visit Napolean's Palace....

Place d'Armes, 78000, Versailles
Absolutely breathtaking. I was amazed by how much land the estate had. The vegetation is perfectly kept and manicured. Along with the hundreds of art scattered across the gardens. I felt as though I had entered another era at times. Highlight of my trip to France❤❤❤

Place d'Armes, Versailles, France
Day 3:- Palace of Versailles - It s a half day trip from Paris as it is at a distance from the city. We had an option to visit the palace or Disneyland, but since we did not want to visit the Disneyland we went to the Palace Of Versailles. A beauty standing tall and grand. Palace of Versailles has an entry fee which is payable at the ticket counter at the entry and you get The Audio Guide free which tells you history and about everything in the room in greater detail. Its a historic palace with a backdrop of a beautiful garden and water body. It also has a great fountain and awesome place to sit and enjoy the view. Second half of the day we visited the Montmarte again as we were in love with that place and just wanted to take home great memories. At night we went our for dinner at the Saint-Michel a metro station famous for its restaurants. We randomly entered a restaurant which served Italian food and ordered Veg pizza and believe me it was great and yummy. Also dont forget to try the creeps on the road as they are a delicacy of Paris.

Weekend Getaways from Versailles

We took an early morning bus (7am) from Paris to Brussels. We reached Brussels at around 10 am and proceeded to our AirBnB accommodation. We spent just one day at Brussels. We first visited Grand Palais and then walked around till Mannekin Pis statue. There is a Tin Tin Mural at a walking distance. There are awesome Belgian waffles and chocolate shops in the city center. We then took a tram till Atomium and then went to Palais de justice. The Royal gallery hosts great restaurants with reasonable rates. We ended the day with the dinner at the Royal gallery.
