Itinerary-
New Jalpaiguri station, Siliguri to Dhupjhora via Gazoldoba. One can enjoy the winter migrant birds of Teesta Barrage with local prawn fritters and some quick noodles from the roadside stalls.
On reaching Dhupjhora, check in to Dhupjhora south park, a Riverside family resort. Here you can get family rooms (double bed, four bed)(ACon AC) and mesmerizing view of river murti in the backdrop of Gorumara National Park from your balcony with package includes complementary breakfast buffet.
The other side of the resort is surrounded by paddyfields and village. If luck favours, you can have the experience of Wild elephants come over the paddyfields and the villagers try to keep elephants away by firecrackers, drums and noise.
You can go for jungle safari as well in four watch towers in Gorumara NP and Chapramari WLS named Chapramari, Chandrachur, Jatraprasad and Medla.
