Not many people know but Hoi An has got some really nice and popular beaches as well. So one side of the town is like a walking museum with all the history embedded in its walls and doors, the other side of the city is hustling with some of the best beaches in Vietnam, amazing beach cafes, and some thrilling water sports.
Hoi An has two main beaches - An Bang beach and Cua Dai beach. I also read about this secluded beach which has been recently explored and it is called "Hidden Beach".
An Bang beach is about 15 minutes drive from Hoi An ancient town and we hired a scooter for 90,000 VND for a day. Isn't that cheap?
Also, you have plenty of options to eat at An Bang with some really nice restaurants too.
