A retreat for the soul : just 2 hrs drive from Delhi

Is everything too far to get rejuvenated from the daily hustle bustle???

Here comes "Baghaan orchard retreat" to rescue at a distance of 100kms from Delhi (2hours drive in a strech). Well, my husband took me there to celebrate my birthday & it couldn't have been any better than this.

This place not only offers an extra ordinary stay but lot of other things which will fill your heart with joy & gives you a soul satisfaction. Since our stay was only for 2 nights, out of which 1 was planned for the birthday, we couldn't really explore lot of other things that the place has to offer.

Let me tell you about it in lil detail below.

1) Distance

This beautiful place is located in kachraut, UP (120 kms from Delhi). Since it is only 2 hours drive, you can easily pick up any weekend & head to relax surrounded by 15 acres of the mangoes orchard.

2) Booking

3) Buffet System

The best part of staying in a place (whether hotels, BNB's or resorts) is the included buffet for all three meals of the day. The price is inclusive of the buffet for which you wouldn't have to pay separately.

However, if you wish to have some evening snacks or brunch cravings, there is a cafe as well which is open throughout the day till 11pm night.

4) Did someone say "activities" ?

Yes, they have some amazing activities as well. If you are a family with young children, it'll be an absolute treat for them. The activities includes :

- Zip lining

- Wall climbing

- Paint ball

- Target shooting

- Cycling

- basketball court

- Cricket ground

- Table tennis

5) Party organisers

In a place like this, the best part is to celebrate your special days with beautiful decor & food is cherry on the cake. At extra charges, you can arrange a nice set up for your special occasions with candle light dinner.

6) Pool time

I know it doesn't sound too exciting as most of the places these days offers pool but they really have a huge pool (2 of them along with a section for kids). The pool is surrounded by all greenery with pool chairs on all sides.

All in all, it just feels so relaxing being there even if you are stepping inside the pool.
