When to Visit?
I would suggest visiting this place in the morning. Like they open around 11 am. The dogs will be active around that time hopefully. In the evenings, i feel the dogs are really tired and crowd starts entering around 4 to 8 and that is not fair to the dogs because they are really tired. But you will still have fun even that time because people bring in their own dogs to socialise and you will be able to play with them.
What to expect?
Good food, Cute doggies and loads of peace and fun :) You can run around with the dogs, and play with them using balls. When i visited there was this one lab who preferred to sit on the chair and hug people all the time :)
What you cannot do?
You cannot lift the dogs. You cannot feed them your food(unless it is your dog and he just takes off your food and runs away!) And donot irritate them- few dogs prefer not to mingle. If that is the case just leave them alone!
What do you have to be aware of?
TIME: You will definitely get so carried away that you will lose track of time. So if you have any other place to go just keep an alarm or something :)
PATH: The way leading up to the cafe is a mud road. So if you think of walking think again.(ie) do not wear white pants, and wear proper foot wear (in case there are rains, it is almost not possible to walk)
OLA/UBER: If you are thinking of boarding ola or uber for a return ride, do it so atleast half an hour in advance - They just keep cancelling your rides suddenly and you will have to do the entire process of booking again which again takes so much time.! And once your ride is booked, call the driver and ask him if he will come to pick you up .
