At some distance from the Tungnath temple, there is the Chandra Shila temple upstairs, where it is a place famous by the name of Ravana Shila or Speaking Mountain . It is said by the pundits that then Rama praised Shiva here and requested him to be freed from this sin, after which he was liberated by Bholenath.
