My first reaction was WOOOOWWWW!! I could only stand there and stare at the view for somewhile learning how beautiful and dangerous our mother nature is at the same time. Seeing it live was much more cherishing than virtual. I am glad we chose Arunachal. This place is full of beautiful surprises.
This place was shaped by a glimmer flood following a seismic tremor in the year 1950, Madhuri Lake is initially known as Shonga-tser Lake, which is a standout amongst the most prominent lakes in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. The lake was renamed so after the shooting of Bollywood film Koyla, featuring Madhuri Dixit, the excellent actress. The lake has been encompassed by brilliantly rich valleys, and snow-topped mountains. A relaxation walk is the most ideal approach to roam in the beautiful surroundings of the lake.
The lake is overseen by the Indian Army. There is a cafeteria as well, close to the lake where guests can savor Maggi, Momos, with some tea or espresso. The best time to visit Madhuri Lake is among April and October as amid the remainder of the year, the zone is solidified.
