When compared to South Delhi, the scenario of Old Delhi is totally different and there are drastic differences between the place and the people belong to those places. Old Delhi people have their own way of dealing things in Desi way. When I explored this part of Delhi, I was startled and shocked to witness such a coziest yet liberal environment.

I have almost explored most of the streets in Chandni Chowk, which included Paranthe Wali Galli, Interior Shopping streets, apparel Shopping streets, Red Fort, Gauri Shankar Mandir etc. The shopping scenario of Chandni Chowk was enigmatic. These shopping streets are always most happening places in Delhi. Being, the largest wholesale market in India, Chandni Chowk is most popular in supplying all the decor items, wedding trousseau, apparels, accessories in bulk way. One must have to witness the whole market scene with their own eyes to understand the business.

Everyone there was welcoming, appealing and inviting. People here got a lot of patience to show their customers whatever they needed. This is the best place for Wedding planners, event managers to shop the stuff in bulk mode. The interior articles were outstanding. The quality of the products was also good. Simply, it was all about showcasing the quality and durable products at affordable prices.

When it comes to the natives of the place, they were quite responsive and approachable. They were non judgmental, too unlike people from other parts of Delhi. Because, Visitors from various countries and states always visit this busiest market and people over here were kind of habituated to welcome them every now and then. Trust me, I haven't faced any trouble in exploring the whole scenario of Chandni Chowk except the roads were a little rocky.

If you go a little ahead walking away from Paranthe Wali Galli, you will find many apparel stores which exclusively sell Indian ethnic and Bridal wear. Trust me, they totally resemble designer wear and they are quite affordable too. Shopping here for wedding attires is worth the money for sure. If you keep on exploring the shops in Chandni Chowk, you will end up at one place , where you can sense the spiritual vibes of the Gauri Shankar Mandir.

To the diagonally opposite to the temple, on the other road, one can find Red Fort, the monument which was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. These two architectural monuments resemble each other in their hues, both are Red.

The road which was between Red Fort and Gauri Shankar Mandir, was the busiest road I have ever seen. One can find a lot of vehicles, especially rickshaws. People cross the roads in groups. That one road actually spreads the whole Old Delhi vibes.
