India is land of spirituality that every part, state or town or city or villages are not devoid of temples. They have always formed and have been a major part of culture, heritage of spiritual India.

East India has had a wide range of spirituality from Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism. The concept of Dharma, karma, Maya and samsara are followed.

TAWANG MONASTERY- It is also called as, Golden Namghyal Lhatse, 400 years old, offering views of the Himalayas. A three stroked building found by, Merka Lama Lodre Gyamtso, history says this monastery was known as Kato, Choksar, Turgya, Losar are popular festival celebrated. Three days music dance festival is grand here. From Tawang, cona where this monastery is situated is easily reachable. Tawang is called as birth place of Dalai Lama- Nurang falls, Madhuri lake, gorichen peak are places to visit.

RAMGHAT- Located in Chitrakoot, belief where poet Tulsidas was sitting by the river, that Lord Rama, Sita Devi and Lakshmana appeared. Taking a dip in this river, absolves your songs. Boating and evening Arthi is very popular here. Gupt Godavari, Hanuman Dhara, Janaki kund, Kalinjhar fort are places to visit.

ASHTAPAD- A tirthankara, where Maharaja Bharath Chakravarti attained salvation. Ashtapad means 8 steps which is 151ft tall and 108m round. It is a beauty to witness that you get to have a view of the Himalayas. Hastinapur is called as, pilgrimage town of Uttarpradesh, which was the capital of Kauravas. Bada Digambar Jain mandir, wildlife sanctuary are places to visit.

YOGA PEETH- Located in Mayapur, birth place of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the tree where he was born, is called as sacred tree, which still prevails in this premises. There is also a hut made out of clay models, along with centre for yoga Veda changing and meditation. Mayapur is a laid back city, which is formed out of 9 islands, that appear in the shape of lotus flower. Iskcon temple is a popular place to visit.

SHRI BANKA BIHARI MANDIR- Dedicated to Lord Krishna located in Vrindavan city of mathura you eyes won’t miss stunning Rajasthani architecture. Lord Krishna is seen as a child in Tribhanga position. Swami Haridas, one day entered, nidhivan that lord Krishna filled the place with light. He also appeared in front of him with Radha and requested him to place a black image of Him. It was constructed by Goswamis family. Vrindavan is called as, Lord Krishna childhood abode. On the banks of Yamuna, it is one of the oldest temple city of India. Prem mandir, nidhivan, Nandagoan, gokulnanda are places to visit.

HATISATRA- There is a huge monastery where this village is dedicated to lord Krishna. Saint Nalanga built this monastery, which is called as popular pilgrimage spot of Assam. Sualkicui is called as Manchester of east, besides sleepy town of Assam. Craft and weaving are their main occupation where you would spot lot of temples and monasteries. Located on the banks of Brahmaputra, there are lot of scenic, picturesque villages to visit. Sideswar Devalaya, Hajo, Hayagriva temple are places to visit.

MAHABODHI TEMPLE- It is called as great awakening temple located in Bodhgaya- Bihar, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. He being 9th incarnation of Lord Vishnu who meditated under Bodhi tree and attained enlightenment. This temple was built by, Ashoka in 260BC where Lord Buddha is seen in, Bhumisparsa Mundra. Bodhgaya is located in Gaya district, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is one of the holies town of Bihar where Thai monastery, Muchalinda lake, royal Bhutan monastery, Vietnamese temple, dungeshwari hills, museum are places to visit.

TRIVENI SANGAM- It is called as land of Kumbha Mela located in Allahabad, where three rivers Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswathi meet. One of the holy site of India, where prakrishta yagnya was performed by Lord Braj,a, while Lord Rama visited Allahabad during His exile. Allahabad is known as, Prayagraj located in uttarpradesh where Maha Kumbha Mela happens every year. Khusrobagh, Allahabad museum, fort, Chandrasekhar Azad fort, Minto park, planetarium are places to visit.

East India is full of culture, tradition and ethics that each temple is a beauty on its own. This spot of India also includes, rich traditions, and hidden customs where temples contribute a major part to history of India.
