Over the last few decades, Singapore has become one of the most sought-after tourist destinations of Asia. Thanks to my younger brother's incessant demands that we finally got to visit this heavenly country. We planned a short three-day trip and had the most unforgettable vacation. This place should certainly be added to one's own family travel bucket list. The fact that a large portion of this country's citizens spoke English added to our comfort and friendliness with them. The country is well maintained and people are quite cordial and obliging. There is so much to do in this small country that I wish I was able to spend some more time. We had planned this trip with the help of a travel agency so we had no concern about planning our trip. Our taxi was already waiting for us at the airport to drop us to our hotel. Our tour guide told us many engrossing facts about Singapore. He told us that Singapore is five things at the same time: - An Island, a port, a city, a state and a nation too. We got to know that the flavorful and mouth watering food is considered as one of the reasons to visit the country. The variety of food is seen by the government as a symbol of its multi-Culturalism. He also warned us to keep country clean as littering is strictly prohibited and heavy fines are levied on defaulters. After we reached our hotel the Grand Imperial, we had our lunch and relaxed for some hours. In the evening we started our much-awaited Singapore tour with full excitement and elation.

DAY 1-NIGHT SAFARI:- Our first stop in the country was the famous night safari, Singapore's No.1 night spot. This was surely a lifetime experience for me and my family. The place was flooded with vacationers and we had to wait for some hours to get into the tram and embark our journey through the wildlife night park. We were shown many animals but what made this safari exhilarating was that the animals were open to roam around in their natural habitat. Altogether it was a marvelous experience. This was the end of our first day in Singapore.

DAY 2-SENTOSA ISLAND: - On the second day we visited the Sentosa Island. It is a popular island resort. We reached the island by a rope way. This island gives a serene and tranquil aura to its visitors. The island offered some excellent landscapes. I enjoyed various activities with my brother. One of my favorite was the luge ride which is like go- karting downhill. We also watched a 5D movie, dolphin show, visited the underworld (which is a huge aquarium built under the ocean) and lastly saw the water light show called the Wings of Time. After a long and action-packed day we headed back to our hotel for the night. The Sentosa island is a must on one's to do list in Singapore.

DAY 3-SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS AND ORCHARD ROAD:- The next day we went to the botanical garden which is also known as the National Orchid Garden. Our tour guide tolds us many fascinating things about this delightfully attractive place. This was followed by shopping at the Orchard road which is the one street that every visitor to Singapore must experience. It has twenty-two shopping malls and is enough for one to go on a serious shopping spree.

DAY 3-UNIVERSAL STUDIO:- This was our last stop in Singapore and it was as good as we expected it to be. Universal studio is something pars anybody's imagination. The park has seven themes namely New York, Hollywood, Egypt, Jurassic park, Madagascar, Far far away and Sci-Fi. Each theme was built separately and had rides, entertainment and shows based on it. I had a superb time riding on huge roller coasters and other rides.

We tried to cover as many places possible. Our days full of excitement were over and bid farewell to this beautiful country. We went back to our hotel to leave for Delhi the next morning. I would personally recommend every travel freak to visit this exuberant country at least once in their lifetime.
