Day 1

Oh yes, I am finally here to share my Goa trip experience. Being a girl from coast, I used to get questions like, " you have seriously not visited goa yet?". Goa is just 5-6 hours drive from Mangalore but this time I had to just pack my bags and start to Goa.

Finally the day arrived in mid of November 2021 and managing my working days, me and my friend instantly booked a bus from Bangalore for the very next coming weekend.

How to Reach - There are train, bus and flight directly to Goa. And ofcourse a private road trip!
We started from Bangalore, the buses start at around  6-7 PM according to your boarding points and takes 11-12 hours to reach Goa.

We started around 8:30 from Bangalore and reached in the morning. There are several stops available at Goa like Madgaon, Panjim etc which is in middle and quite nearby to North Goa.

We reached Goa on Friday morning and we were on workation so our plan is to hire a bike and reach the nearest beach so that we can start working early and close around sunset time.
We reached Madgaon, hired bike for 4 days, the cost was rupees 400 per day and fuel it accordingly.

Day 1 - Madgaon - Colva beach

Madgaon to colva beach is just 6-7 kms, we reached colva beach, looked for stays with good wifi. Worked for the day and went for sunset. The weather was cloudy and the sunset was not clearly visible we roamed around the beach, did some street shopping, went for a candle light dinner. Came back home , we did a planning for the next 2 days, for the weekend!

Day 2

Day 2 - Majorda beach, Para road, Arambol sweet water lake and beach, Sinquerium Beach back to Colva beach.

Day 2 - we started early because the plan was to reach North Goa and was close to 75 kms and A2 hours drive.
However we wanted to cover few places on the way as well.
First place we explored was Majorda beach which is close to colva beach and early morning having noone around it was a good start with peaceful morning and ofcourse the rhythm of sea waves.

Then we headed towards " Para road". Since it was in the morning around 9 AM, it was crowded and except us, 2 other groups were doing their photoshoot!
We also wanted to do " love you zindagi" there, Lol!
We also got once cycle to ride for sometime.

After some fun and drama, we left to Arambol beach. on the way we had yummy Maggi and we headed directly to Arambol sweet water lake.
This place is to chill, relax and swim freely under the shade listening to the sea waves.

Then we went for a mud bath nearby. It was fun.
I will rather share the pic after mud bath glow.
Then we had sometime in Arambol beach and the lunch by the beach.
We had lunch in "Salt water terrace" where I had authentic goan fish and rice.
Arambol beach is very spacious and got few water sports as well.

We wanted to see the sunset in a very particular place called "Sinquerium beach" and it takes 2 hours to reach from Arambol beach and not miss the sunset at all.
It was around 5pm we reached the destination and we also wanted to hike to a offbeat place where the sunset view was so so amazing.

This place is definitely unique inspite of being coastal sunset. The hike by the beach side, the fresh breeze, the sound of waves. What else you need. This place is also called " Lower fort Aguda"

The next stop is Cola beach and on the way, we had Tender Coconut, I mean why not!
Around 3-4 km of offroading to Cola beach was fun but the roads are really bad and you should be careful with your bikes🤭

Once we reached Cola beach, the views were worth watching and again a unique experience.
A kayaking experience in a blue lagoon surrounded by coconut trees

The next place is "Cabo de Rama", it's around 30kms and first glance of this place was the best. I couldn't get over it. We had lunch at ' Cape Goa' and was amazing 😍. The food, vibe, view, live music and the Rain🌧️.

We had our bus at 10pm from Canacona bus stop and we headed towards bus stop with backpack of smiles and lot of memories.

My conversation with the last beach I visited was, " I will come back soon!"
