Landed in Goa and arrived at the hostel ( Jungle By Hostelcrowd, Vagator) I booked just a night before. Spontaneous decisions may let you down just like the hostel did. Not that it wasn't great, it had everything that a girl would need, safety, hygeine everything was taken care of. I just had to argue for the rooms as it was booked last moment, urgh, jist 11 hours prior. After all that bargain, I finally got a bed and settled myself. I wasn't looking forward to sit and rest, it was a solo damn trip and I quickly tugged my tshirt and headed out to the beach. Gazing at the ocean and beautiful sun setting I ended my day with some hot maggi and a cup of coffee.
Next day morning woke up at 5 am to watch the beautiful sun rise with no crowd at the beach and soaked some fresh on golden sands inhaling the salty breeze. Later that day after breakfast at my favourite place, Cafe Sarvesh, which by the way serves one of the best Bhaji Pav in Goa, I came to the hostel and got ready to take on the day. I hired a bike and oh my it took me to some of the most off beat places in Goa.
Parra, one of the most scenic place was ticked out of my buckte list and came across colorful houses on roads.
Had planned to have a typical chicken thali at Goan Spice, Anjuna, and trust me its worth every penny. Mind you, its for only 200/-. Not even kidding. After all that appetite I got myself out to the city of colourful houses with Portuguese architecture, Panjim and got a picturesque view of the heritage of Goa.
It was the day, I had to meet my father, yes, my father lives in Goa and we do have a house which belongs to me ancestors. I had to show my face to the man which I did and enjoyed homemade goan delicacies and had my afternoon nap.
It was this day I had today say Goodbye. Goodbye to my father, my grandparents, my journey, my Goa.
Settling in the plane, looking at the boarding pass, thinking about visiting Goa again, in the middle of the sky with a memory of a lifetime, I reached Bombay again :)
