Goa is a place where every Indian wants to go once in their life. Goa is known for its beaches, churches and night life. Goa is the smallest state in India and situated at western side.

The first thing you have to decide is How to reach

Option 1: By Air Goa has International Airport you can take a flight to Debolim Airport from your city and directly reach to Goa. It is a costly option, if you are from India you need to spend at least 6000 to 7000 for direct flight to Goa. To make it less expensive you can book a flight to Mumbai and then a train or Bus to Goa. If you have time you can experience cruise from Mumbai to Goa but this option is bit expensive.

Option 2: By Bus Goa is connected through Road by major cities of India you can choose any AC Volvo, luxury bus or any other normal bus to reach Goa. It will cost you around 1000 Indian rupees

Option 3: By Train This is the cheapest, my favorite and most recommended mode of transport. The confusion which will strike in your mind is which station you should choose so let me clarify that as well if you are planning for North Goa choose Thivim and if you want to enjoy south Goa then book your tickets for Madgaon Railway station. It will cost you 500 Indian Rupees.

Next thing which you need to decide is North Goa or South Goa? If you like crowd, parties, night life and want to enjoy all these you should plan for north Goa. If you want to sit and enjoy peacefully or want to spend time with your friends or family go to south Goa.

Where To book hotel in North Goa Book your hotel at Baga beach, as this beach has famous Tito's lane which is famous for parties, In night while coming back you could be drunk so driving will not be safe, checking also happens in Goa so if you will book your stay at Baga beach it will be easy to go back to your hotel. It will cost you around 900 per day, If you are a solo traveler and looking for reasonable stay book a hostel or dorm in any hotel which you will get in minimum 100 Indian Rupees . Other options to book stay are: 1. Calangute Beach 2. Candolim Beach 3. Anjuna Beach 4. Sinquerim Beach

How to travel in local 1. Hire a scooty ( 300 per day ) : You can hire scooty from railway station itself if you can manage your luggage on it it will save your cost till hotel also. 2. Hire a car : you can hire a car in 1200 Rs Per day: if you are with big family or having a bunch of friends you can hire a car as well.

My preference: Hire a scooty even if you are more in number as riding scooty in Goa is a very nice experience.

How To Plan Day wise Itinerary for North Goa Day 1: Places which you can cover on the day you will reach to Goa 1. Calangute Beach ( enjoy see bath with your friends or family)

2. Baga Beach

3. Aguada Fort 4. Chapora fort 5. Anjuna Beach 6. Night Life at Baga Beach or Casino

Day 2: This day can have optional plans: Option 1: 1. Dudh Sagar Water fall ( If you are a travel freak and able wake up early in the morning)
