Goa-the most beautiful holiday destination is located in South India. This time I had planned to make a holiday vacation in Goa but wanted the trip to be not all about beaches, wanted something different. We landed at Goa International Airport, after taking a 2 hours flight journey from Hyderabad (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport). A holiday break in Goa can be much more than a beautiful vacation in any destination.

Hotels in Goa offer plenty of options for travelers with luxurious facilities and amenities for every guest. We have traveled almost 5 km to reach the Bogmallo Beach Resort, where we booked rooms in the best location at affordable price. I was bit surprised after getting into the hotel lobby, which has a rich architecture and overlooks the beautiful sea.

People often think Goa is all about beaches but no, the state with a rich Portuguese history has some awe-inspiring places.

We decided to make our first visit to Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in the Western Ghats of South India, in Sanguem taluk. It was a unique experience for every travel to see various types of reptiles, mammals, birds and butterflies. You shouldn't miss to see the beautiful temples, which date back to Kadamba Dynasty.

Located to the east of Panjim, Cumbarjua Canal connects on the banks of the Mandovi River in Goa. We had a great experience to relax ourselves and also made a boat trip across the river. Never miss the flora and fauna during this trip. It will be a thrilling experience for everyone of getting close to crocodiles that look dangerous with sharp teeth.

If you're in mood to add some adventure to your vacation, must plan to visit The Budbudyanchi Tali or the Bubble Lake. It is located in Netravali in the Sanguem taluka. You can see some interesting elements found in the water, where if you clap hands near the pond and the water starts bubbling. This happens due to the accumulation of methane gas under the water. We had a great time here in Netravalli and also capture several photographs.

You can find plenty of transport facilities to reach here from the Bicholim located in North Goa. Harvalem Falls is considered as one of the most beautiful waters falls in South India, which water plummeting headlong from above 50 meters. The best time to visit these waterfalls during spring season.

Rivona Cave Goa

Situated in the village of Rivona in South Goa, Rivona Cave Goa is also known as the Pandava Caves. These caves are dug by the Buddhist monks during the 6th or 7th century. We had a great fun by hiring 4 motorcycles’ in order to reach to the waters or nearby places.

Finally our five days trip came to an end and this time it was not all beach but yes they were there. A trip to Goa without beach visit is unimaginable but yes, there are other places too.
