Leh is the joint capital and largest town of the union territory of Ladakh in India. Leh, located in the Leh district. Leh is at an altitude of 3,524 metres and is connected via National Highway to Srinagar in the southwest and to Manali in the south via the Leh-Manali Highway. The lake offers an awesome site for camping. June to September is the best time to visit it. Khardungla Pass is a gateway which leads to Nubra and Shyok valleys. It is definitely amongst the must-visit places to visit in and around Leh Ladakh for adventure junkies. Khardung-la pass is the gateway to the north and one of the most difficult yet thrilling passes to ride on. Nubra Valley is one of the best places to see in Ladakh. It is situated northeast in Ladakh. The sand dunes of the Nubra Valley offer the tourists Arabian category night experience. It is the most famous tourist destination in Leh Ladakh for its two-humped camels. So, be sure to check out this one while you’re out and about in the scenic land of Ladakh. Panamik village which is famous for hot sulphur springs is another attraction in Nubra Valley. You can go to a magnetic hill by jeep. The ride you enjoy it. You must also go to Hemis National Park for Ladakh sightseeing.The park has leopards, Asiatic ibex, Tibetan wolf, the Eurasian brown bear, and the red fox. For nature lovers and bird watchers, You can visit this place. It is a noise and Pollution free environment. Anyway Ladakh is a restricted area So If u are foreigner you need Inner Line Permit ( ILP ), PAP, RAP to visit places like pangong lake. It will be your next destination for trekking in the winter season.
