Tripoto

First of all I would like to thanks all my followers for appreciating my work .

So from the city of love - Agra , we hopped by our car directly to the city of lakes, Udaipur . But before reaching Udaipur we did visit the sacred land of Mathura .

The travel story of mathura is quite short ,which will be discussed later in the blogs .

Let's talk about the city of lakes .

Udaipur, also known as the City of Lakes, is the crown jewel of the state of Rajasthan. This 'Venice of the East' has an abundance of natural beauty, mesmerising temples and breathtaking architecture which makes it a must-visit destination in India. A boat ride through the serene waters of Lake Pichola is enough to prove to you why Udaipur is the pride of Rajasthan.

Udaipur, a city in Rajasthan is a stunning location and has a rich cultural background and a great history. The palaces reflect the architectural grandeur prevailed during the period of Rajputs and the scenic landscape is descriptive of how nature could be generous where it chooses to be.

The other Reason is also that as we visited the Taj Mahal , it has a direct relation with The Jagmandir in Udaipur .

The city is also famous location for a lots of movie shoots and commercials . The peace on the banks of the lake Pichola is so mesmerising . Let's talk about the visit now.

The City Palace , Udaipur

The visit to City palace was a splendid one again . The visit to city palace again has some entry charges which is 150 for an Indian , 1000 for an foreigner and no fees for a student on research . So as Cherine was on a research on India , we got the entry for free which again saved our money as we were budget travellers .

Let's give you some brief about city palace :-

The magnificent palace was built in the year 1559 by Maharana Uday Singh and served as the main seat of power, where the Maharanas lived and administered the kingdom from.

It is located on the eastern banks of Pichola lake. The palace is a fusion of Rajasthani, European, Chinese and Mughal architecture, making it one of the most alluring factors of Udaipur.

The palace complex houses monuments like the Monsoon Palace, Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir, and Neemach Mata temple, and it is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains, giving it a gorgeous background.

Built completely with marble and granite, and it also has the beautiful appeal of marble-work, mirror-work, silver-work, inlay-work, wall paintings, murals.

The Palace now has an assortment of Mahals, courtyards, pavilions, corridors, terraces, rooms and hanging gardens. There is a museum here as well that showcases some of the finest elements of Rajput arts and culture - from colourful paintings to the typical architecture found in Rajasthani palaces.

A pic clicked while relaxing at the Ambrai Ghat , Udaipur

Ambrai Ghat also popularly known as Manjhi Ghat situated in Udaipur. The ghat is situated near the Lake Pichola which is located exactly opposite to the Gangaur Ghat. The popular Jagdish Chowk Area is also near to the ghat.

The ghat is popular for the lake side view. The lake is dotted with many restaurants and the ghat stands as one of the spectacular tourist spot.

The Pichola water sprinkles on the Ambrai Ghat synchronously with the moving breeze joined by the fowls and pigeons twittering cheerfully, and as the brilliant sun chooses to enter the Pichola Lake conveying a captivating perspective.

Every time we come across posts and feed that. "Get paid to travel " . So this thing indeed worked for us during the visit to Udaipur . So the day we were gonna checkout , the owner of the hotel comes to us with a proposal that if Cherine would like to be a Foriegn delicate and give a small presentation on architecture and about her country , they would be paying us certain money , so we thought it was cool . Dr Hemant Dhabhai , the trustee of Aravalli group of College , Udaipur extended our stay and hosted us for one more day and we earned money in just 15 mins by attending the colg. This is how we earned . If you get paid to travel .
