In my previous article "Local 'Gems' but not from Cadbury - Part 1 #NearMyHometown" I had described 2 places near my hometown which are worth a watch.

As mentioned in that article, I will come up similar places near my hometown as a series, that is worth to spread a word about it

1. Shri Shirdi Sai Baba temple, Madakasira

Highlights:

- Powerful and most trusted deity of modern days

- Serine and peaceful locality

- Mostly North Indian style Architecture

- Vast and clean area within and around the temple

- Perfect spot for morning walk and baba aarathi is a visual treat to eyes and bliss to mind

How to reach:

Its around 20 kms from Pavagada, easily reachable via road (bus facility is available to Madakasira and and we can walk to this temple from there i.e. around 1 km walk)

Timings:

Darshan: Morning 05:30 to Night 9 pm

Aarathi: 6 am, 12 noon, 6 pm and 8:30 pm

2. Panchamukhi Anjaneya Temple, Neelakantapuram

- New construction, just opened a month ago

- Small but clean area within and around the temple

How to reach:

Its around 35 kms from Pavagada, easily reachable via road (bus facility is available from Madakasira. Buses going to Agali will take you there)

Timings:

The door is designed in such a way that we can view the god anytime even if it is closed

Entrance opened only on 'Vaikuna Ekadashi'

Highlights:

- We can get darshan of almost 8 deities at one place

- Serine and peaceful locality, though its on road side

- New construction, just opened a month ago

- Large and clean area within and around the temple

How to reach:

Its around 36 kms from Pavagada, easily reachable via road (bus facility is available from Madakasira. Buses going to Agali will take you there)

We can get Darshan of the below mains deities when visited this temple, along with other small sub-temples:

1. Lord Neelakanteshwara

2. Goddess Parvathi

3. Lord Narashimha

4. Lord Kodanda Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and Hanuman

5. Lord Ranganatha swamy

6. Lord Venu gopala

7. Navagrahas

8. Sharada (Saraswathi)

I have not completed this article yet, will update the list as and when I visit other marvels near my home town. For now, I have just listed another 3 places which I recently visited
