Day 1
Going solo is my style, feeling the moment, trekking, riding in a local bus and dumping the night in an old Lodge or cottage with mice and cricket as company is what I like. Mad!right, but that's the way I like.

But this time I took my family with me. To feel and nurture the beauty of the mountain's within me and to see the favorite spot of Himalayan sages.

Utharakhand at the foot steps of Himalayan mountain's offers you everything. From the deep silence of mountains to the chanting of Om at Rishikesh, Adventure sports like river rafting, bungee jumping and zip line to the Holy dip in Ganges and temple's at the mountain top.

We arrived at Dehradun airport on time. The view through the aircraft window was marvelous. The whole aerial view was covered with the bushy curly green wigs.

Climate was awesome. Our first destination was Mussoorie just a two hour drive from DED. Mussoorie is at an altitude of 2000 Mt in Garhwal Hills above sea level.

We booked a cab for 3000 INR from DED airport, cab driver Mr Rajat was a young vibrant guy.
His driving skills were par from any skilled racer.
The route to the hills itself was an eye-catcher. Just after a 10-15 minutes of travel we took a detour to a narrow road. Both sides of the road were covered with teak trees, the trees I have seen from the sky was even more beautiful at a closer view. I was literally filling my lungs with the aroma of forest.
Road gets narrower as we go, it just winds around the trees like they are having some kind of spiritual connection.

Rajat is an expert in what he does, for a moment we felt like we were in a F1 track and Rajat was our Michael shoemaker, dodging all those cars and drifting through those hair pins.

Temperature gradually drops as we ascended through the hills. We reached Mussoorie by evening, outside temperature was 23 Celsius. Each and every corner of the city will mesmerize us with a new angle of her(Hill) beauty. Monkeys hop around from one tree to another, dogs watch us from Hill tops like a bouncer, different kinds of birds showcasing there beauty and singing talent.

We stayed at spring road, as the name symbolize the road just spring around those mighty Hills. Mussoorie is a small place with two main road spring road and mall road. Every road here is narrow paved with concrete slabs and tar.

Walking is the best way to experience the place. While you walk you will be trailed by that immense view of the hill and abyss of trees on your hand side and the other side will be equipped with every man made artifacts and food stalls. You could get a lot of artifacts like paintings, wooden crafts, clothes, books and everything at a cheap rate.

Food is famous in Mussoori you could get everything here. Italian Chinese Mexican everything. You could get a variety of pizzas, omelets, pastas and also tasty Desi foods. Street food stalls are like anything, they have a special mussoorie noodles, I don't know what they add in those but it's a treat to our taste buds, and those paav bajji and hot mushroom omelet which is covered over crunchy bread is mouth watering.

So never forget to take a bite in that panorama of mussoorie hills.

You could go to the Aquarium at the mall road to see those aquatic wonders, or go to the wax museum to see the wonders made by hand, or see those floral beauty of mussoorie gardens, or you could have a peaceful moment looking at her beauty from the rooftop with a book in your hand.

Kempty fall is another attraction of mussoorie. It's a 40 minute drive down the mountain, but it worth seeing. The cold water bounces from rocks and splashes with elegance and that feel of freshness we feel while standing beneath this miraculous shower of water is something you can not get from your bath shower.

Just after the fall the water channels to two man made ponds where you could have a bath.

After having that moment of happiness we descended to DED and to follow the road to Rishikesh. Sometimes I feel like I have lost a
