When you think about an outing for a while or simply say you have weekends off (Saturday and Sunday), then this could be the best outing for you. What could be more beautiful than being in laps of Mountains. Beautiful weather, the fresh air, less people around you and where you get to know more about yourself in a better way. What I am talking about is you can see below candid picture.

Breathing in the Fresh Air

If you thinking about your first ever trek, then I would suggest you to go for a Group Trek Guide like I did with Sar Outdoors. They will give valuable advice about whole trek like what to bring alongside and what you should not, also they guide about all the safety measures etc. They have charged INR 4000* for whole trip from and to Delhi. You can also start your trip from Dehradun as well with just 2500* (Price may vary if you book in bulk or in a group basis). They have Pre-booked the Volvo Sleeper bus from Kashmiri Gate to Dehradun. A group of 15 unknown people have started the journey for a memorable trek from Dehradun in a Traveller Bus. Yes!! You read that right. We were literally unknown to each other. And that's the best Part I loved about them.

Somewhere in the middle of Trek Path

Had Breakfast at a restaurant (name forgot) after moving ahead from Mussoorie for about 5 kms. That was the last time we had meal by our own. Post to that we got 4 times meals starting from Lunch from the same day to Lunch of Next day.

And then the point Pantwari Village came from where we have to start our real trek Journey. Got tips and advice from the Trek Leaders and we finally started our trek journey. Got Lunch at somewhere in middle of Trek, And trust me when you go for a trek and you get meal at somewhere in the mountains specially when you feel a bit exhausted, that feeling is like an achievement and award winning moment.

Creativity on point at Midnight at our Base Camp. Picture Credit- Me and Shobhit

At Around 5 pm we reached our Base Camp, Had Tea then started Group fun like we all do before Dinner, sitting around Bonfire and playing dumb charades, antakshari and narrating horror stories was another level of fun.

At around 3am we left for our Summit Point and of course how can we miss the mesmerizing sunrise. The view was speechless as you can see below.

Below tips can be useful if you are going for your first trek.

Use comfortable hiking boots, with good ankle support.

Wool or fleece layers clothing will keep you warmer and drier throughout your trek.

Keep yourself hydrated! Make sure to bring enough water on your trek and take small sips regularly.

Trekking consumes a lot of energy, make sure you refuel regularly with lightweight high energy food. Snacks such as fruit, nuts and energy bars can be the best options to keep you going longer.

Don't forget your sunscreen.

Join a local trekking group, such as Sar Outdoors. It's a fun way to meet people with similar interests.

Leave nothing but footprints. Take nothing but photos (memories)

Smile on the face can describe all.

That's all I have to share with you all. All I want to say now is - You will never know until you go!! So just go for a trek to know yourself much better and you will definitely thank me later.

And if you want visual experience of this trek then here it is - Nag Tibba Trek || The Summit ||

And Finally, Thanks for reading.!!
