Start from Sangli and go through Miraj from Ganesh lake to Subhashnagar. From there to Malgaon. Road is a little bit uneven with a steady elevation. From Malgaon move further to Gundewadi and again further to Khanderajuri.
Almost by this time you will notice a beautiful sunrise after khanderajuri on the way to 'Shri Brahmanath temple'.
It's almost on the hill with a beautiful smooth road taking you to the temple. It's an ancient Temple. Here you can relax on the benches and stretch a little bit. Alongside the temple, there is a water stretch which is almost dry in summer .Here you can enjoy swimming in rainy season. There are also small hills nearby where you can enjoy trekking.
Almost 5 km from there you will reach Kuktoli village. Here comes the challenge to climb almost 2 kilometres up on an off road to reach ancient "Giriling temple".
It's a beautiful temple with a nice courtyard. Here you get black tea made on fire wood. From there you have two options to return. One option is from Kuktoli village ...as you came. ..and second is through Plateau.
Yes plateau....or table land of almost 600 acres.For this you have to take your Cycle through courtyard and climb a few stairs to witness a scenic beauty of the plateau.
It's an off road but worth cycling and experiencing Mother nature's creation. From there you can go downhill which is little risky ,since the stones make you slip.Its better to walk on the bad patches of the road. But this is a perfect road for a MTB Bike.You will reach back to Gundewadi.From there its a tar road which takes you back to Malgaon.
Alongside you will get to see the harvesting of grapes and enjoy the fresh ones if you are riding in Feb or March. Also you will get a lot of spots to capture in your camera.
