The Unimaginably Clean Waters of the Arabian Sea

We had just had our lunches, lying on our beds, listening to the coconut branches rattling in the breeze, reading a novel, nothing new right, something we do every Sunday, that's when we decided on going to the beach.

The Quaint Beach

To get to the beach just keep going down the Kodi road, that connects to the main highway(NH 66) near Vinayaka theater.

The water at this beach is unimaginably clean and one can spend hours loitering around, spending quality time with friends and family. This beach is pretty secluded which gives you the open space to run free!!

If you get to the end of Kodi beach road, you can see the Gangoli estuary : the Panchagangavali river meets the Arabian sea. Flying a fire lantern at dusk made the experience magical!!

Getting down the right way is too mainstream

Saving the best for the end, there is a lighthouse by the Kodi beach road that comes on in the evening. One can visit the lighthouse between 4pm - 5:30pm for Rs. 10. The sight of the lighthouse at night on one side and the moonlit ocean on the other, is absolutely breathtaking.
