The Vistadome Coaches introduced by the Indian railways have attained a significant popularity among the Indian tourists. The wide glass roofs and observation lounge are enticing and alluring. List of trains with Vistadome Coaches

IRCTC has released the list of trains equipped with the vistadome coaches. You can visit the IRCTC website for booking the tickets. After selecting the basic information of To and From Stations, Journey date and category, you need to select the class as AC Chair Car or Executive Chair car.

New Jalpaiguri - Alipurduar Junction

Introduced on 28th August, 2021. Phenomenal in viewing the captivating beauty of the Dooars, connecting North Bengal and Bhutan.

CSMT Mumbai - Pune

Introduced on 15th August, 2021. The name of the train is CSMT Mumbai Deccan Queen Superfast Express, the numbers being 02123 / 02124. The train departs from Pune at 7:15 AM and reaches Mumbai at 10:25 AM. The return journey from Mumbai starts at 5:10 PM and reaches Pune at 8:25 PM.

Yesvantpur - Mangaluru Junction

Introduced on 12th July, 2021. You can enjoy the gorgeous views enroute the Yesvantpur - Mangalore region, aboard the train. The train numbers are 06211/ 06212, 06575/ 06576 and 06540/ 06539. The trains traverse through the mystic scenery of the Western Ghats adorned with rivers, gorges, valleys, mountains and pristine hamlets.

Pune - Mumbai Deccan Express

Introduced on 26th June, 2021. The train route passes across the railway stations of Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Neral, Lonavala, Talegaon, Khadki and Shivaji Nagar. The train numbers are 01007/ 01008 and named as CSMT Pune - CSMT Deccan Express Special Train.

Mumbai - Madgaon Janashatabdi Express

Introduced on 18th September, 2017. You can experience the breathtaking landscape of the Western Ghats and the Konkan region. The train numbers are 12051/ 12051 and named as Janashatabdi Express.

Vishakhapatnam - Araku Kirandal Express

The train resumed operations from December, 2020. The stoppages include Kothavalasa, Simhachalam, Srungavarapukota, Araku, Borra Guhalu, Koraput, Jeypore, Jagdalpur, Dilimili, Kotpar Road, Kakkalur, Dantewada, Bachel, Srungavarapukota, Borraguhalu, Kotpar Road, Dilimili, and Kakkalur between Visakhapatnam and Kirandul; spreading across a distance of 128 km. The train numbers are 08513/ 08514.

Kalka - Shimla Train

The train resumed operations from December, 2020. Way back in December, 2019, the train route had earned recognition as UNESCO’s world heritage railway track. The railway line is located at a height of 640 metres above sea level. The meandering route passes through dense forests, the Shivalik mountain ranges and deep ravines.

Kashmir Valley - Vistadome Train

Introduced on 29th June, 2017. Imagine observing the picturesque and enthralling views of the Kashmir valley from glass roof and glass windows, aboard a train. Isn't it an experience of its kind? You can witness the feeling on a Vistadome train spanning through the Kashmir valley.

As per the latest reports, Vistadome coaches are now being introduced across the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh. The route stretches across a distance of about 100 km and the heritage train is expected to be operational by the end of September, 2021.
