The Inaugural Voyage

With a wave of the green flag, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath set the wheels of progress in motion at the Taj Mahal Metro Station. This momentous event marked a leap forward in connecting the heartbeats of Agra’s storied avenues to the pulse of modern infrastructure.

Metro Magic Begins March 7

As the dawn of March 7 breaks, the Agra Metro will welcome its first passengers, embarking on journeys across six completed stations. From the sky-kissing platforms of Taj East Gate, Captain Shubham Gupta, and Fatehabad Road, which are elevated to offer sweeping views of the cityscape to the underground stations like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Mankameshwar, designed to mirror the rich culture & heritage of Agra. Every stop along this route is a portal to history, seamlessly blending modernity with tradition.

What’s the Fare?

Hop on board for a fare that’s as friendly as the city itself, ranging from a mere INR 10 to a modest Rs 30. With trains running from the first light of 6 am till the night’s curtain call at 10 pm, the Agra Metro is set to become the heartbeat of the city’s travel rhythm.

Safety in Every Corner

Vigilance is the guardian of this new journey, with 28 watchful CCTV eyeing at every station and the valiant Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force standing guard. About 150 of these dedicated sentinels ensure that every ride is as secure & smooth as a smoothie.

A Canvas of Culture

As you glide from one historic site to another, the Agra Metro stations themselves are a celebration of local artistry. Vibrant paintings breathe life into the walls, and selfie points beckon, inviting you to capture memories with a backdrop of Agra’s soulful artistry.
