1. Amber Fort
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus "Bajirao Mastani", which starred Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, was shot in full swing at the Amber Fort, which is 11Km away from Jaipur.

2. Sonmarg
Salman khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan was shot in Kashmir Valley in places like Sonmarg and Zoji La. The film's climax scene was shot at Sonmarg near the Thajiwas glacier (at 10,000 ft above sea level) with around 7000 people.

3. Udaipur
Thanks to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, people have started noticing Udaipur like never before. Depicting the royal city in its full splendour, The Oberoi Udaivilas played perfect host to the team of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
4. Rohtang Pass
Remember when Kareena Kapoor joyfuly sang “Yeh Ishq Hai, Jannat Dikhaye” amidst the snow-clad mountains? It was here.

5. Sukna Reserve Forest
The song ‘Kyon’ from Barfi is not only remembered for its beautiful composition but also for its paramount cinematography which featured the Sukna forest range near the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, close to Siliguri in West Bengal. Sukna Reserve Forest casts a spell on your heart, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.
6. Swades - Dhom Dam, Wai, Maharashtra.
The boat ride in the movie Swades was shot at Dhom Dam, which is an earthfill and gravity dam on Krishna river near Wai in the state of Maharashtra in India

7. Spiti, Himachal
Highway, which is directed by Imtiaz Ali, was extensive shot across Himachal Pradesh. Further, scenes were also shot along the road highways of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab.

8. Hadimba Devi Temple
Hadimba Devi Temple in Manali, mostly called as the Dhungiri temple, became popular overnight, thanks to the 2013 blockbuster Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. The movie about summer romance and an unforgettable college trek attached a different dimension of belief to this temple, worshipped especially because it houses a block of stone that has imprints of the feet of the Goddess Hadimba.

9. Doraha Sarai Fort
Officially it is the Doraha Sarai Fort but colloquially it is popular as the RDB (Rang De Basanti) fort. It called as the Doraha Fort because of its two double-storied gateway entrances. It is right behind Gurdwara Manji Sahib (in Doraha) about 1km away from National Highway 1. This massive fort is reminiscent of Indian culture and history right in the middle of lush green fields with a Gurdwara as the backdrop.
10. Munnar
The foot tapping dance number, ‘Kashmir Tu, Main Kanyakumari,’ from Chennai Express has been extensively shot at the Munnar Tea Plantation in Kerala. And like everything which SRK touches turns into gold, this place has become a ‘Must Visit Spot’ for people travelling to Kerala.
11. Dhuandhar Falls
This one is old but when Kareena danced on ‘Raat Ka Nasha’ in this smoke cascade known as Dhuandhar Falls, it was a sight! The Dhuandhar Falls are located on Narmada River in Bhedaghat, Jabalpur district Madhya Pradesh.

12. Fatehpur Sikhri
Fatehpur Sikri in Agra can be termed as a ‘Bollywood Favourite,’ when it comes to filming. From Pardes to Jodha Akbar, this Indo-Islamic architectural masterpiece has given Bollywood many blockbusters. The catch of this spot is how the red sandstone buildings lend themselves to the plummeting sun as the rays bounce off the beauty of this ancient architecture .It’s a world within a world.
13. Jab Tak Hai Jaan - Ladakh
Apart from London, the Yash Raj blockbuster was shot in Ladakh and parts of Gulmarg and Pahalgam.
