I Love to Travel and Here Are #20ThingsILoveAboutMacao , My Dream Destination

Tripoto

While tourists flock to Europe for extravagant vacations every holiday season, I am someone who loves exploring India's neighbourhood. Rich in culture, heritage and history, the South East Asia has all my heart. One destination that remains on the top of my bucket list is the enchanting Macao, a haven situated  on the south coast of China. If I get the chance to visit this mesmerising country, then here are the top 20 things I would love to explore.

1.  Macao's adventure arenas

One thing that really excites me about Macao is the numerous options of adventure that it offers. With its mast climb, bungy jumping, sky jumping and Golden Reel, Macao is a one stop-shop to check off all adventure activities.

2. Rich heritage

As an architecture enthusiast, I want to explore the historic district of Macao. With 20 monuments and urban squares such as the A-Ma Temple, St. Lawrence's Church, and St, Augustine's Church waiting for us, I cannot wait to explore Macao's renowned heritage.

3. Spectacular shows

Why go all the way to Paris when the Eiffel Tower is right here in Macao? The Eiffel Tower light show, the House of Dancing Water and Fortune Diamond are some of the shows I would love to see with my family.

4. An aquatic trek

A cruise is something that I haven't yet experiences, so the aquatic trek in Macao is definitely something I want to experience. I'd love to hop on the Blue whale no. 1 or the Yuet Tong No. 3 and witness the glistening Macao on their open-air sight-seeing deck.

5. Party scenes

The nightlife in Macao is super happening, and I would love to experience its variety of pubs, discotheques, bars and restaurants. The dance clubs in the Macao are frequented by international artists, so there's nothing better to make the vacation fun, memorable and exciting.

6. Pampering myself

For me, no trip is complete without indulging in self0care and a good pampering session. I would love to head to spas that have been designed by professional experts for the ultimate relaxing session.

7. Museums

While museums and galleries like Macao Museum and Maritime Museum are must-visits, I want to visit Wine Museum.

8. Fortresses

As someone who hails from Jaipur, the city of the most magnificent forts, I love visiting forts and fortresses of other countries. Macao's fortresses surrounded by the sea offer stunning views, so I'd especially like to visit The Guia Chapel and Lighthouse.

9. Temples

An amalgamation of Chinese and Buddhist culture, Macao has numerous wonders that I'd like to see. I'd like to get in touch with my spiritual self at temples like Kim Iam Tong, Lin Fong and Lin Kai.

10. Gorgeous gardens

Boasting of colourful gardens and spectacular landscapes, I can't miss taking a stroll in Camoes Garden, Flora Garden and Arts Garden.

11. Panda watching!

Possible the cutest animals on planet earth, I could easily spend an entire day at the Giant panda Pavilion at the Seac Pai Van Park in Coloan.

12. More culture!

At the A-Ma Cultural Village on Macao's Coloane Island, I look forward to experiencing the celebration of Goddess of Seafarers.

13. Monuments

To dive into Macao's history, I would also like to see the monuments spread all across the country. I'd especially excited to see the monument of the OG explorer, Vasco Da Gama!

14. Shop to my heart's desire

Macao's fashion arcades are world renowned for being home to the latest fashion trends. The One Central Macao Mall is definitely on top of my list as it houses the best luxury brands of the world.

15. Lounge on beaches

The Cheoc Van Beach and Hac-Sa-Beach are places where I'd like to experience the coastal flavours of Macao.

16. Explore Macao on cycle

Zooming through the beautiful terrains of Taipa and Coloane islands will be a truly stand-out experience. There's no better way to experience a place, is there?

17.  The Chinese Lunar Year

The best way to get in insight into the Chinese culture is to experience the Lunar Year. It will be great to witness the celebrations in full glory.

18. Delicious food

The Macanese Cuisine is a mixture of Chinese and Portuguese influences, making for fantastic flavours on the palette. I want to gorge on dim sums, skewers and Portuguese egg tarts.

19. Hotel the Venetian Macao

You don't just get to experience Paris in Macao, but also Venice! This Uber-luxury resort is a must visit and I can't wait to see it.

20. Warner Bros. Fun Zone

This is the best pit-stop especially if you're visiting with your family. With a number of rides and attractions, this is the best place to head with kids.
