#20ThingsILoveAboutMacao That I Cannot Wait to Explore!

Discovering places that are off the beaten path has always been my preferred style of travelling. Whether it is heading to a remote village within India or visiting a country that is not so popular among international tourists, I thoroughly enjoy travelling my own way. So in a quest to be different as I explore, I came across Macao which is the latest destination that I am thoroughly obsessing over. I am extremely eager to learn of its old historic town that exists in complete sync with its modernity. Here are the 20 things that I love about Macao!  

1. Culture and Heritage

I want to explore the historic district of Macao which has urban squared and monuments like the A-Ma Temple, St. Lawrence's Church, and St, Augustine's Church. 

2. Adventure activities 

The numerous adventure activities of Macao really excite me. I want to try sky jumping and the sky walk at Macao Conventional Tower. 

3. Importamt monuments

I am very excited to see the statue of Vasco Da Gama, the explore we owe it all to. 

4. Cruise 

I want to try the aquatic trek in Macao. I want to love to take a ride on  Blue whale no. 1 and the Yuet Tong No. 3 to explore Macao. 

5. Rejuvenation centres

When a vacation gets tiring, I opt for a relaxing spa, so this is definitely how I'd like to end my trip to Macao.

6. Museums

Wine Museum, Macao Museum and Maritime Museum seem very appealing.

7. Urban gardens and parks 

As a nature lover, can't miss taking a stroll in Camoes Garden, Flora Garden and Arts Garden.

8. Architecture

The Guia Chapel and Lighthouse are monuments that I am excited to visit.

9. Partying

I want to experience Macao's famous clubs, pubs and restaurants such as Sky 21 and Macao Soul.

10. A dive into religion 

Buddhism, hailed a the most peaceful religion in the world is the most practiced religion in Macao, so I want to see those beautiful monasteries. , I especially want to visit temples like Kim Iam Tong, Lin Fong and Lin Kai.

11. Getting in touch with nature 

The Giant Panda Pavilion at the Seac Pai Van Park in Coloan is where I want to visit to spot the cutest creatures on planet earth. 

12. Light and sound shows

The Eiffel Tower light show, the House of Dancing Water and Fortune Diamond are some of the shows I would love to witness.

12. Legends of the Macanese culture

At the A-Ma Cultural Village on Macao's Coloane Island, want to to experiencing the celebration of Goddess of Seafarers.

14. Shop till I drop

The One Central Macao Mall and Red Market are places where I'd like to shop for luxury brands and well as Macao's street style.

15. Visiting beaches

The Cheoc Van Beach and Hac-Sa-Beach are beaches where I'd like to experience the coastal flavours of Macao.

16. Explore Macao by myself 

I would love to ditch the public transport system, simply hop on a bike and explore Macao's beautiful islands at my own pace. 

17. Festivals 

If I can attend a hike festival such as the Chinese Lunar Year, I'll consider my trip to Macao successful. 

18. Gorge on food

I want to try unique Macanese dishes such as dim sums, skewers and Portuguese egg tarts.

19. Hotel the Venetian Macao

This palatial resort does not just give you a taste of Macao, but also of the European gem, Venice. Definitely want to visit this place. 

20. Macao's vibe 

Macao is famous for its fast-paced, effervescent vibe. Whether you're on an island or in a historic town, the infectious energy is sure to get to you. This vibe is something I know I will love.
