Travelling with kids has never been easy. Along with everything else, the parents have to take care of their little one's needs as well, which includes frequent visits to the washroom and food every two hours.

But now, during the pandemic, this has become even more challenging. People are taking extra caution while travelling to keep their kids and themselves safe from getting infected with the coronavirus. Yet, there is a constant fear among them.

If you are also planning to have a trip with your kids, here are a few things you must take care of to reduce the risk of infection.

1.  Research

Pre-Covid times we used to search for famous Travel Destinations. But now we spend the weekdays after work to find places that is not frequented by many people.

What we realised is for every famous place there is always an alternative that fewer people know.

2. Make Youtube and Facebook your friend.

There are so many bloggers and vloggers who are trying to seek unexplored places. This can be useful when planning a trip of your own.

Tricks used by us is: We make a list of places we can visit and then we Google about them. We go through different blogs. In Youtube, we apply filters to find recent videos upload. These will help you understand how many people visit a location, the safety of the place and also the road conditions.

3.Make a short 1 day trip.

Make sure the place you are going to visit can be completed in a day. Limit one side distance to maximum 200 kilometres. Otherwise it might be difficult for the little one.

This also helps to avoid overnight stay at an unknown hotel or resort.

4. Make use of Google Maps.

Once you have squared down on you location, use Google Maps to find other nearby locations. Trust me, this will lead to amazing discovery.

All you have to do is just zoom in and out and find some unexplored hilltop, trekking area or a scenic riverside.
