Kasol<-->Sheela<-->Gypsy House

If you've really been around trekking, searching, exploring and experiencing the mystique Parvati Valley then this village--Sheela/Shilha located in the heart of the Parvati is something that just cannot be missed. The whole aura of the village will keep you possessed during your stay and for days to come, the temples in the village seem like a direct connection to the power above, the clouds hugging the color changing mountains, the sunlight that is precisely adjusted to suit your photography, the hospitality and generosity of the locales and off course the marijuana plantation that grows dense as you climb up the village.

Reaching Sheela : Take a volvo from New-Delhi to Bhuntar then a bus to Tosh from Bhuntar, the trekking to the village starts from a point 7-8 kms from Manikaran, locales are helpfull and will not let you miss the spot. The trek is short yet steep but the serenity that prevails in the valley make it easy for you.

Place to stay : Although its not a small village but there is only one place 'GYPSY HOUSE' where you can find shelter and really good homely food. The owner of the place is a young guy from Shimla aslo a friend of mine since long , he carries a bag full of good vibes with him and possesses a great insight of the Parvati Valley and the highest high, you will love to crack conversations with him.Photo of Exploring one of the youngest mountain range 1/1 by Shaurya Pratap
