It was then a budget hotel I meant 8 years back. Kindly check with them too.

There are flights from Delhi to Jamnagar and then you have to drive to Dwaraka. Another way is there are trains to Jamnagar from where Dwaraka is easily reachable. Regarding places to visit other than dwarakadish temple, Dwaraka beach, lighthouse view, Gomti talav, Sudama Setu, isckon temple, swamy Narayan mandir. You need one day maybe one more day to spend in Dwaraka. From there Somnath is 4 hours away. You need a day to explore Somnath. Starting from beaches, Laxmi Narayan temple, Suraj mandir, Gita temple and museum are some notable spots. On the way back to Dwaraka you could stop by Porbandar and explore lot of historical spots. Then reach Jamnagar spend a day and take a train or flight back. Regarding stay in Dwaraka Hotel Gomti Dwaraka and ginger Dwaraka are some hotels you could check bookings. Regarding Somnath Fern residency, the square, holiday inn, and Sarovar portico are some hotels you could check with. I travelled to both places last month from mumbai. In Dwaraka we stayed in club Mahindra while in Somnath we stayed in Sarovar portico. Both hotels were good to stay.

and again take a train from Dawarka to Somnath.
option 2. take direct train from Delhi to Dawarka and then Dawarka to Somnath

Yes April is the hottest month to travel. Araku valley has warm summers and you might witness some dip in temperature by evenings, but to do a road trip in summer especially April may is not that advisable. The best time is to visit before March after November rains.

During these months, the weather is generally pleasant and comfortable for travel, with low humidity and temperatures that range from the mid-60s to mid-80s Fahrenheit (around 18 to 29 degree Celsius). The monsoon season, which typically runs from June to September, can make the roads more difficult to navigate and cause landslides in certain areas. So it would be better to avoid this time of the year for a road trip.

As you land in Madurai spend a day in Madurai. Starting from Meenakshi Amman temple, don’t forget visiting koodal azhagar temple, Mariamman teppakulam and Thiruparankundram. Don’t miss tasting food in Murugan idly shop and sip jigarthanda at Famous jigarthanda shop. Evening you could shop around one maasi street. Next day you can plan for Kanyakumari which is 3 hours drive from Madurai. Evening you could start exploration with Kanyakumari Amman temple, adjacent is the beach and Gandhi Mandapam. Near the beach you get to taste yum dosa and parotta. Next day you could plan sunrise view at Sothavilai beach or drive to sanguthurai beach. After breakfast you could visit Vivekananda memorial and Thiruvalluvar statue. By then lunch time would arrive. Evening you could arrange for a cab or book bus to reach Rameshwaram by night. It’s a 5 hour journey. You could start your day in Rameshwaram with visit to Rameshwaram temple, Agni theertham and Jatayu theertham for all three temples are in the same premises. From here travel to Dhanushkodi for beach views, picturesque views and ruin town stories. On your return stop by pamban bridge, jada thirtham, and villondhi therrtham. There are boat rides near Pamban bridge kindly check if it is operational even today. You could start your next day visit to Sri Abdul Kalam house and memorial visit stop by Lakshmana theertham, do silk shopping and proceed towards Madurai. In Madurai evening you could plan for Thirumalai Nayakar mahal visit, azhagar Kovil, Gandhi museum visit. If at all you have enough time for your flight don’t miss out on tasting food at Shankwalla, shopping on all four streets around the temple, inmayil nanmai taruvar temple near to sundareshwar temple, tasting chilli parotta in arthi hotel, trying lunch at sabarish buying macaroni and chocolate sticks from Raja barley shop.

How to visit double ducker root bridge from shillong (Meghalaya)

AnswerWishlistFrom Shillong double decker bridge is 2 hours away. You can reach Tryna via cab. Then do an half an drive to the bridge near premises, thereby trek for some couple of minutes to reach the exact spot. My advise would be stay in Tyrna overnight and plan visiting next day. Else start early morning from Shillong, and plan return same day.
UpvoteCommentThe base station for the Nongriat trek is Cherrapunji, which is about a two-hour drive (54km) from Shillong. Ideally stay there overnight and then next morning drive to the roadhead hamlet of Tyrna which is 30min (12km) from where the descent starts.
